19 - Widcombe House Bath City Centre

A fantastic house that is the perfect place for friends and family to relax. The house is less than 10-minutes level walk from the city centre and Bath Rugby. Parking is available at Bath Cricket Club only 5-minutes walk away and the train station is less than 10-minutes walk. The house itself is spacious, with a large lounge, modern kitchen dining room with doors that open onto the rear courtyard making it great for entertaining. Upstairs there are 3-double bedrooms and one with ensuite. This beautiful house is full of light and space. The open plan lounge has two seating areas as pictured and the open plan kitchen dining-room is one of the nicest spaces we have seen in an Airbnb. This space is modern yet retains some of the period feel of this lovely family home. The house benefits from bi-fold doors that opens into the small enclosed rear courtyard. There is also a utility room on the ground floor with washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a downstairs WC. Upstairs, the master-bedroom with king-size bed benefits from having an ensuite and there are two other double bedrooms with double beds and the main bathroom. This house has a lovely feel throughout and would be a fantastic base for families or friends looking to relax whilst only being a short distance from the centre of Bath. Guests have exclusive use of the entire property. We are based locally and whilst we won't contact you to give you space during your stay, we are available if needed. The house is on a quiet residential street but is a very short 5-10 minute walk from the centre of Bath. There is also Widcombe high street which again is only a 5-minute walk where there are several shops, a pub and some lovely coffee shops that serve breakfast. There is a mini Co-op Supermarket 5-minutes walk away on the high street. Bath is like London these days with parking and the council do not allow us to use residents permits for short-lets since the start of 2023. The nearest long stay car park is the new car park at Bath Cricket Club which is about five minutes walk from the house. The next nearest is Avon Street which is about fifteen minutes walk. If booking in advance, you might also want to look on Just Park. The train station is less than ten minutes walk if you leave the train station by the pedestrian footbridge to the rear of the station.
